Group offers 100 female students memorial scholarship

The Olayinka Braimoh Initiative, OBI, has announced the initiation of a scholarship scheme for 100 students from Kabba Bunu Local Government, Kogi State, in remembrance of the 30th memorial of Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh.

This was disclosed in a press release signed by Akudo Nwokorie and Kayode Adepele, National Coordinator and State Coordinator, respectively of OBI, who made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday added that the initiative “underscores our dedication to empowering young intellects and investing in the future of our society.”

The group noted that “the scholarship scheme is crafted to offer educational support to underprivileged and disadvantaged students in the locality. Each scholarship will encompass tuition fees and associated educational costs, enabling beneficiaries to focus on their studies without the stress of financial concerns.

OBI gave further insight into the initiative and the life of Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh

“Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh, the pioneer female university graduate from Bunu District of Kabba/Bunu Local Government area of Kogi state, was a committed educator and a source of inspiration to many who valued the transformative influence of education. This scholarship scheme serves as a tribute to her enduring legacy and unwavering commitment to education.
