An entrepreneur, Princess Folashade Salami Soetan,⁶ has commended the leadership of the Okun Development Association, ODA, for the inauguration of the Okun Security Implementation Committee, describing it as a bold and revolutionary move.
The. ODA Publicity Secretary, Pastor Dayo Thomas who made this known in a statement said the business woman noted that the effort will play a crucial role in tackling the security challenges that have plagued the area, including the senseless killings and kidnappings that have become all too common in the region.
Soetan, a philanthropist, extolled the members of the committee, describing them as erudite and worthy ambassadors of Okun land. She also lauded the ODA President-General, Amb. Rotimi Akesson, for his creative approach to community development, noting that improving security and infrastructure will not only enhance the lives of the people but also attract investments and promote economic growth.
