President of the Takete Ide Progressive Union, Engnr. Richard Dare Fiki has thanked the House of Representatives member of Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide for his interventions in the development of Takete Ide, Amuro in particular, and quality representation of the area in the National Assembly in general.
This was contained in an appreciation letter he dispatched to the lawmaker on behalf of the community on Wednesday, 13th May. The gesture was to underscore Abejide’s N10 million gift as part of his multimillion Naira intervention to galvanize development across all communities in Yagba land.
Fiki, who received a ceremonial cheque of the gift at a colourful ceremony held in the community’s multipurpose hall and event centre Ikoja Omi, said the initiative brought joy, hope, relief and a clear sign that the legislator care about his constituents.
“At a period when many communities are facing economic challenges, your support has renewed confidence in responsive and compassionate leadership. The impact of this assistance will be felt across different areas of community life, and it will contribute greatly to improving the well-being of our people.
“We sincerely appreciate your continued commitment to development, empowerment, and the advancement of grassroots communities. Your actions have shown that leadership is best demonstrated through service and direct impact on the lives of the people.
“As you continue to serve humanity and your constituency, we pray that God Almighty will strengthen you, protect you, and grant you greater wisdom and success in all your endeavours.

The lawmaker’s entourage included the Chairman of the Leke Abejide Foundation and the Olugbagun of Igbagun, HRH Sola Adebola Samuel and Chief Babatunde Esanu-Aje.
