The Okun Development Association (ODA) has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the development and empowerment of Okun women, as the world celebrates International Women’s Day. Amb. Rotimi Akenson, President- General of ODA, emphasized the vital role Okun women play in driving community growth and progress.
Dayo Thomas, the group’s Publicity Secretary, in a statement revealed that to reinforce this commitment, ODA’s National Executive Council (NEC) has introduced a new office of Women Leader, dedicated to prioritizing women’s development and empowerment. This initiative aims to inspire Okun women to take on more prominent roles in our society.
